Customer Support Representative

We are looking for a Customer Support Representative (Support Associate) to join our team in Ridgefield, CT. You will collaborate with a team of digital marketers and customer support reps to ensure all operations are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in time management, organization, attention to detail, communication, and customer service. The right candidate will be comfortable in an “all hands on deck” team environment, is a creative and analytical problem solver, and can thrive in a fast-paced, start-up culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Customer service and troubleshooting, with a proactive approach to customer service
  • Owning, triaging and resolving when possible product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; working with the technical teams as needed to ensure resolution.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with customers to keep them proactively informed and setting expectations on progress on their issue.
  • Prioritize issues with the clients and communicate this with internal L2 or L3 technical support teams, as needed, to ensure delivery per the agreed timescales.
  • Recommend potential product improvements to product teams by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Participate in the digital marketing teams tasks when needed: this can include updating customer websites, creating newsletters, etc.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Achieve daily goals while working in a fast-paced, start-up environment

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Demonstrable skills in customer support and satisfaction
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new concepts and technology
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and prioritize daily tasks

Pluses for the job:

  • Knowledge of Google Workspace/G Suite a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Quark, InDesign, Sketch, and HTML a plus

Job Type: Part-time, remote

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
  • Availability until 8:00pm

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
