Sales Director – Boost Division

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead outreach and acquisition efforts within our Boost division. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with at least 5 years of experience in sales and a strong understanding of the cinema industry. You’ll play a key role in growing our customer base by identifying new leads, guiding potential clients through our offerings, and helping cinemas unlock new revenue opportunities with our suite of marketing and digital solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the full sales cycle: from identifying and qualifying leads to delivering demos and closing deals.
- Reach out to independent theaters and regional exhibitors across North America to understand their challenges and position Boost as the ideal solution.
- Schedule and lead product demonstrations via video calls, emails, and (occasionally) in-person meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and deal progress using HubSpot CRM.
- Follow up with prospects, overcome objections, and provide clear, solution-oriented communication.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with campaigns and lead-generation activities.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a smooth handoff and successful onboarding.
- Stay up to date on Boost product features, the exhibition landscape, and customer feedback to refine your sales approach.
- Represent The Boxoffice Company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have 5 + years of sales experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS, digital marketing, or cinema-related company.
- You understand the cinema business — whether from a marketing, operations, or tech angle — and you’re passionate about helping theaters succeed. Prior experience working for a theater chain, distributor, or cinema tech company is highly preferred.
- You’re goal-driven and not afraid to pick up the phone, send follow-ups, or engage at trade shows.
- You’re personable, confident in presenting ideas, and capable of building long-term client relationships.
- You’re comfortable working independently in a remote role but enjoy being part of a supportive global team.
- Experience using tools like HubSpot, Slack, and Google Workspace is a plus.

- Existing contacts or relationships in the exhibition or cinema tech space.
- Familiarity with cinema systems like POS, TMS, CMS, or loyalty platforms.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows or client meetings (5–10% travel).
