Developer Node JS

We are looking for a backend developer to participate in the development of products and solutions for our customers: cinema professionals.
Business intelligence dashboards, SaaS solutions for movie theatres, specific solutions targeted to FAANG / GAFA companies, etc. our innovative projects make The Boxoffice Company one of the world leaders in our industry.
You will have the opportunity to work on these ambitious projects, on innovative technologies. Our platform is mostly based on GraphQL (implementation in NodeJS + FlowType), React and PostgreSQL. You will be part of our team in order to:

  • Conceive new solutions to add to our B2B offering
  • Continue to evolve existing products
  • Participate to the maintenance of our solutions and of our data pipeline
  • Propose solutions adapted to our technical challenges

Working closely with our team spread across France, the UK, the US and Canada, you may have the occasion to travel to work with these teams on common projects for the group. 

Who we’re looking for:
You have at least 2 years of experience in Node development. You are curious and motivated, you know what GraphQL is, you know git backward and forward, you take pleasure in optimizing SQL queries in order to gain 2 micro-seconds in execution time. 

Key Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Node
  • Good knowledge of SQL, especially PostgreSQL
  • Docker
  • Habit of testing your own work
  • Capacity to adapt to all types of technologies
  • Comfortable speaking English
  • Must be eligible for employment in Quebec
