Studio Delivery Manager\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Glasgow, Scotland. <\/b>We are looking for a Studio Delivery Manager to join our Glasgow team. They will serve as the central person responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work generated by the Studio team within the Glasgow office of The Boxoffice Company. Reporting to the UK Operations Director, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Studio team, and will take ownership of the Studio backlog.<\/p>\n

Summary Job Description:<\/b><\/p>\n

They will be responsible for working with the studio team, client services team, and deployment team to collate and prioritise all studio work items, and ensure successful delivery. They will coordinate sprints, and provide a reliable and predictable schedule of delivery.<\/p>\n

The employee\u2019s job duties fall broadly into the following categories:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Own the Studio backlog and capacity planning for the Studio.<\/li>\n
  • Lead the scoping process for potential new work via interrogation of client requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Make prioritisation decisions, and proactively communicate those decisions to all relevant parties by representing the team with stakeholders and customers.<\/li>\n
  • Report regularly to the UK Operations Director and senior management.<\/li>\n
  • Working with the ScrumMaster to coordinate sprints and monitor sprint progress.<\/li>\n
  • Effectively managing the delivery of work within budget.<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with the global product team.<\/li>\n
  • Act as an ambassador for the Studio backlog, and serve as primary contact for related queries.<\/li>\n
  • Manage production staff and input to recruitment of new staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Studio Delivery Manager must have good project management and product strategy skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. They must be effective leaders, team-builders, and managers, with the ability to motivate staff and evaluate performance. Interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with team members and interacting with senior management, coworkers, and clients. Studio Delivery Manager must be goal-oriented, deadline-driven, and have the ability to identify and solve problems as they arise.<\/p>\n
